What is Meter Sublimation?
Meter Sublimation is an advanced textile printing technique that allows printing large-format designs on complete fabric rolls through the sublimation process. Unlike traditional sublimation on finished garments, this technique first prints on the fabric by the meter and then the final garments or products are manufactured.
The process works as follows: the design is printed with sublimation inks on large-format transfer paper using specialized plotters. This paper is placed on the polyester fabric roll (or with high polyester content) and passes through an industrial calendar, where heat and pressure transform the ink into gas that penetrates the fabric fibers, leaving the design permanently integrated. Once the fabric is sublimated, it is cut and manufactured according to needs: curtains, flags, sportswear, covers, textile decoration, and much more.
This technique is especially valued by technical sportswear manufacturers, textile decoration companies, flag and advertising display producers, and businesses that need to create completely customized textile products from scratch. It offers total creative freedom by being able to design every centimeter of the fabric without size or location restrictions.
Main Features
- Large-format printing: Allows sublimating complete fabric rolls with widths up to 3 meters or more, ideal for large-scale projects
- Unlimited design: Total freedom to create continuous patterns, all-over designs, gradients, and complex compositions without area restrictions
- Permanent vibrant colors: Sublimation integrates the ink into the fiber, achieving bright colors that do not fade or deteriorate with use
- Specialized fabrics: Compatible with technical sports fabrics, microfibers, flags, advertising textiles, and specific polyester materials
- Flexible production: From small customized quantities to industrial productions of thousands of meters
