What is DTF UV?
DTF UV is an evolution of the traditional DTF technique that incorporates UV-curable inks, allowing the application of designs on a wide range of rigid materials and non-textile surfaces. This innovative technology expands the possibilities of DTF beyond the textile world, opening new opportunities in the customization of objects and promotional products.
The process works similarly to conventional DTF but with key differences: the design is printed with UV inks on a special film, the adhesive is applied, and it is cured using LED UV lamps that instantly harden the inks. This film can then be transferred using heat and pressure onto surfaces such as wood, metal, plastic, glass, ceramic, leather, and many other materials. The result is a finish resistant to weather, scratches, and wear.
This technique is especially valued by gift customization companies, promotional item manufacturers, and businesses looking to diversify their catalog beyond textiles. It allows for the creation of unique and personalized products with professional quality and exceptional durability, ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.
