What is DTI?
DTI (Direct to Ink) is an advanced textile marking technique that prints directly onto the garment using latest-generation pigmented inks. Unlike other digital printing methods, DTI stands out for its ability to produce vibrant and durable finishes with a simplified process.
The process is direct and efficient: the garment is placed on the DTI printer platen, a light pretreatment is applied (if necessary depending on the fabric), and the printer deposits the pigmented inks directly onto the textile forming the desired design. Subsequently, it is heat-cured to permanently fix the inks to the fabric. The entire process is completed in just a few minutes, allowing for agile and efficient production.
This technology has become a highly valued alternative for its balance between quality, speed, and versatility. It is ideal for companies looking to offer professional textile customization with superior finishes, especially on cotton garments and blends. Its ease of use and consistent results make it perfect for both small businesses and larger productions that require flexibility and guaranteed quality.
